Narcotic drugs destroyed from the area of Zenica-Doboj canton and Brčko district
The Commission for the Destruction of Narcotic Drugs of BiH
, with the support of the Ministry of Security of BiH, the Ministry of Interior of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Brcko District Police and the Center for Forensic Examinations, Expertise and Research of the Federal Police Administration, destroyed narcotics on November 5.
On that occasion, narcotics were destroyed in the furnaces of the BSI company from Jajce, according to court rulings from about 2,000 cases, some of which were older than 15 years.
The BiH Ministry of Security announced that marijuana, amphetamine, heroin, cocaine and synthetic drugs, which were seized and confiscated during criminal investigations, were the most common.
The Commission carried out the destruction of narcotic drugs in compliance with all prescribed epidemiological measures in force during the coronavirus epidemic.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Security of BiH expresses its gratitude to the management and employees of the company BSI from Jajce for the professionalism and cooperation shown during this process, it is stated in the statement.
