About us
Historical overview of origin and development:
The origin of the factory in Jajce dates back to 1897, when started construction of the first hydroelectric power plant in Bosnia and Herzegovina and plant for the carbide production.

The company was founded by Metalleghe S.p.A. based in Brescia (Flero) and is part of the Metalleghe Group.
Metalleghe S.p.A. was established in 1980 with the primary activity of trading in iron alloys and the constant expansion of activities and capacities in the years of its operation, and accordingly ranking among the leaders in this field, among other things through the establishment of B.S.I. LLC Jajce and production of Si-metal, starting from 2004.

3 ELECTRIC ARC FURNACES ( EAF )
B.S.I. LLC Jajce as one of the leading European producers of Si metal, it annually produces about 18,000 tons of this product.
LABORATORY
A technological process with existing quality requirements is inconceivable without a laboratory of the type that exists in B.S.I. LLC Jajce.
FILTER PLANT
3,500.00 t / year of Si-fume. The system consists of a cyclone for separating large particles, bag filters, fans, chimneys.
